Weddings in Nettuno, featuring Il Castello Borghese.
In the last year or so weddings in the Lazio countryside have become one of my most popular wedding venues. Any why not, within reach of Rome you can enjoy the beautiful Lazio countryside and coastline but still take advantage of being able to visit Rome easily. Great for the bride and groom and also their guests.

Where the bride and groom can exchange their vows, enjoy their wedding breakfast and then dance the night away, whilst overlooking the Mediterranean.

While the guests were tucking in I took the opportunity to photograph the couple in the Castello and around the grounds.
Of course there is then the group photographs to fit in before we sit down for the wedding breakfast.
Now inside the venue the tables are set for the arrival of the couple and their guests.
The tables were themed on the iconic sights of Rome.
The arrival of the newly weds was met to great applause.
And then it was time for the speeches.
And a song!
The serving of the wedding breakfast to great fanfare was a real treat for everybody.
Looking back afterwards at the wedding photographs a very clear theme was a smiling bride!
As evening fell it was a chance for a few drinks together before the cutting of the wedding cake.
The wedding cake was cut and served back outside as the heat of the day had subsided.
As it turned dark the guests took the opportunity to enjoy the selection of desserts, and a cocktail or two!
Now that we were well into the evening it was time for the first dance back on the terrace of the Castello.
It was a very special day at a special location and clearly a day that was both fun and emotional for everyone.
